Quesada - Costa Blanca

Quesada is a truly cosmopolitan town, British Germans and Scandinavians all own property here, while the Spanish seem to be a minority. Though smaller than Torrevieja, it's self-contained with about a dozen bars/restaurants including Chinese, Indian, French and German, several mini-supermarkets, a chemist, five banks, a hardware store, an insurance broker, news agency, a computer shop and even an English butcher. Almost no businesses shut down in the winter here. The Don Carlos pub-restaurant is the hub of the community's social life and remains open until well after midnight , every day of the year.
